The
MWQA is a trade association established in 1956 as a strong
representation for the point-of-use/point-of-entry water quality
improvement industry in the State of Minnesota. Since 1956, the
Association has worked hard to represent the industry in many areas.
In 1998, the MWQA prepared a bill to present to the Minnesota Legislature
that proposed revisions to the state's Plumbing Code, which establishes
the rules that govern water conditioner installers and contractors.
Other
benefits of membership include:
-
Participation in the MWQA's website, including listing your dealership
in the "member search" page. Consumers are referred
to the website to assist them in making informed decisions about
purchasing a water treatment system. Listing your dealership on
the site gives you more exposure!
- Opportunity
for continuing education through seminars and workshops pertaining
to the water quality improvement industry.
- Serving
as a unified voice in government and public relations
- Participation
in the MWQA's annual trade show which features educational opportunities,
exhibits and the chance to meet others in the industry. Hear successful
ideas from successful dealers!
- Informative
newsletters, mailed on a quarterly basis, which inform members
of changes in the industry and upcoming events.
- Assistance
with public relations, news releases, and advertising.
