If you are planning to take the State License Exam for either the Water Conditioning Contractor or Installer in Minnesota, plan to attend a seminar to help prepare you for taking the test.  In the last year, the MWQA has sponsored two seminars that included a presentation by Jim Peterson of the State Department of Labor & Industry's Plumbing Division. Peterson reviewed sections of the code that apply to water conditioning, and answered questions from attendees. 

If there is enough interest, the MWQA will schedule another seminar for August or September 2008, just prior to the state test dates.  Contact the MWQA by clicking on "Contact Us" at left if you are interested.

The state tests are scheduled for September 2008.    Applications are due to the Department of Labor and Industry no later than August 15, 2008.   Check the Department's website for complete information later this year, and for application and fee information.
